The pepper mill mechanism can grind black, white or green pepper, and other spices the size of peppercorns or smaller.
With a Tremblay mill, you can enjoy freshly ground cardamom, caraway, coriander or cumin. You can also grind sumac, fennel or mustard seeds, and a number of other seasonings.
Salt mills: for fine herbs, too
The ceramic mechanism in the salt mill is suitable for all types of salt, which must be completely dry before grinding. It will also grind dried herbs (oregano, rosemary, thyme, etc.) and flaxseed.
But never try to grind pink peppercorns or juniper berries: they are too soft and could clog or damage the grinding mechanism.
For a well-equipped kitchen, we generally recommend a black pepper mill, a white pepper mill and a salt mill.
Three sizes, one quality: the best
Our mills come in three basic sizes: 10 cm (4 in.), 15 cm (6 in.) and 25 cm (10 in.), as well as 45 cm (18 in.) and 105 cm (42 in.) on special order.
